Access Framework
|
Registration Before rollingstock is used on the QR network, it must be registered by Network Access as being acceptable and safe. Therefore, we require operating and technical details about each individual piece of rollingstock. Mutual Recognition If an item of rollingstock is already registered in another Australian state or territory, the access seeker can apply for ‘Mutual Recognition’. This streamlines registration. It means that a rollingstock item registered interstate does not need to undergo the full registration process in Queensland. Authorisation Once individual items of rollingstock are registered, the actual makeup of the train (called the ‘train consist’) must be authorised by Network Access. Authorisation indicates that the proposed train satisfies all safety and operational guidelines. Key documents:

Access Holder Agreement [853.71 kb]
